Academic Calendar
Maple Canadian College operates on a two-semester system. Students will take 3-4 courses in each semester. The timelines for each semester are as follows:

Second Semester
Whole school resumption/academic work begins for students/orientation for new students: Monday 13th January 2025.
IELTS tutorials begin (computer-based): Monday, 13th January–Friday, 21st February 2025.
Completion of 1st Semester Examinations (MHF4U, SPH4U, SCH4U): Friday 24th–Friday, 31st January 2025.
Parents’ Forum for Visa Application Update: Saturday, 1st February 2025.
IELTS Test Dates (Computer-based): Wednesday 19th & 26th February 2025 (Tentative).
Home Visit 1 for Boarding students: Friday, 28th February–2nd March 2025.
Visit to Orphanage Home (Community Service): Friday, 7th March, 2025.
Midpoints in all the courses/final community: Friday, 28th March 2025.
Home Visit 2: Friday, 28th March 2025.
Id-El Fitr Holiday (Tentative): Monday, 31st March 2025.
Mid-semester/Easter Break: Monday, 14th April – Monday, 28th April, 2025
House Parents/Boarding Students resume: Sunday, 27th April, 2025.
Whole School Resumption/Academic Work Continues: Monday, 28th April 2025.
Academic works/tests in all the courses continue: Friday, 2nd May 2025.
Social Outing to Omu Resort (Tentative): Saturday, 24th May 2025.
Deadline for the submission of projects, revision of course contents, and examination orientation: Wednesday, 28th May 2025.
Second Semester Examination (Tentative): Friday, 30th May – Friday, 6th June 2025.
Id-El-Kabir: 7th-8th June 2025.
Prom for the class 2024/2025 (Tentative): Tuesday 24th June 2025.
Graduation ceremony (Class of 2024/2025): Friday, 27th June 2025.
